Types Of Happiness

Salam Kasih
Dear Brothers & Sisters.

There are three types of happiness. These correspond to the three forces which bind the body to the soul: peace-assertion-and passivity.

First there is the "Happiness" that comes from always doing what is right. This leads to the end af all sorrow. It may at first seem like bitter poisson; but eventually it turns out to be the wine of eternal sweetness. This type of happiness is pure; and it arises from "Peace".

Secondly there is "Happiness" which comes from the pleasures of the senses. At first this seem like sweet wine; but eventually it turns out to be bitter poison. This type of happiness arises from "Assertion".

Thirdly there is the "Happiness" that comes from the pleasures of sleep, indolence and intoxication. From beginning to end this happiness is delusion. It arises from "Passivity"
