The Power of God's Name

Salam Kasih
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Love

There was a blind old man, who was mean, rude and rush. He was walking along a lane, when a pig ran across the lane, and knocked him over. As he fell, fear gripped his heart. 'O God, O God!' He cried out. The impact of the fall broke many of the bones in his body. He lay on the ground for a few moments, groaning: 'O God, O God!' Then he died.

In those few moments his meannesss and rudeness and harshness were wiped away by the name of God; and he died in a state of union with God.

It is impossible to utter the name of God in a state of sin; it can only be uttered with love. And no one is so sinful that they cannot utter God's name; even the most wicked men and women on this earth can turn to God's name, anda his name will cleanse even the most stubborn of sin.
